Chelsio SM100G-SR Compatible 100GBASE-SR4 QSFP28 850nm 100m MMF MTP/MPO-12 DOM Optical Transceiver Module
Chelsio SM100G-SR compatible optical transceiver is a parallel 103.1Gbps Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable QSFP28 module for use in 100GBASE Ethernet. QSFP28 SR4 provides 100Gb/s throughput up to 100 meters over OM4 or 70 meters over OM3 multi-mode fiber (MMF) with host FEC using 850nm wavelength. This transceiver is fully compliant with QSFP28 Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), IEEE 802.3bm 100GBASE-SR4 and CAUI-4 standard. Its electrical interface is MSA compliant 38-pin edge type connector and the optical interface is MTP/MPO-12 connector. The full-duplex QSFP28 transceiver implements 4 independent 25.78125 Gbps transmit and receive channels in each fiber for an aggregate 100 Gbps data rate. Built-in Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) support is present for real-time performance monitoring via 2-wire Interface (TWI/I2C). Our modules are factory pre-programmed for compatibility, perform identically to original Chelsio SM100G-SR transceivers.
