Extreme Networks 40GB-AC07-QSFP compatible DAC is an active 40Gbps QSFP+ to QSFP+ direct attach cable for use in 40GBASE Ethernet. QSFP+ active DAC provides 40Gb/s throughput for 7m interconnection with high speed twin-axial copper cable. Standard length options cover from 1 meter to 10 meters. This DAC is fully compliant with QSFP+ Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), IEEE 802.3ba 40GBASE-CR4 and XLPPI standard. The twin-axial copper cable's wire gauge is 28AWG and pre-terminated with MSA compliant 38-pin edge type connectors. MSA memory map are accessible via 2-wire Interface (TWI/I2C). Our active DACs are factory pre-programmed for compatibility, perform identically to original Extreme Networks 40GB-AC07-QSFP direct attach cables.
