Mellanox MCP1600-C002 compatible DAC is a passive 100Gbps QSFP28 to QSFP28 direct attach cable for use in 100GBASE Ethernet. QSFP28 DAC provides 100Gb/s throughput for 2m interconnection with high speed twin-axial copper cable. Standard length options cover from 0.5 meters to 5 meters. The QSFP28 DAC cable implements 4 independent 25 Gbps NRZ transmit and receive signal channels in each differential pair for an aggregate 100 Gbps data rate. This DAC is fully compliant with QSFP28 Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), IEEE 802.3bj 100GBASE-CR4 and CAUI-4 standard. The twin-axial copper cable's wire gauge is 30AWG and pre-terminated with MSA compliant 38-pin edge type connectors. MSA memory map are accessible via 2-wire Interface (TWI/I2C). Our DACs are factory pre-programmed for compatibility, perform identically to original Mellanox MCP1600-C002 direct attach cables.
